***MY EXTRA CREDIT POEM. I COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO PUT IT BELOW MY ASSIGNED POEM, WHICH IS THE TIGERS/BASEBALL POEM BELOW THIS. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE***

I know that it is hard to see the words to this poem so I will post them here:
My Brother
by: Eric Ely
The person I admire
Is my best friend.
He is my brother Sean
And will be with me to the end.
He has always helped me
Whenever I was in trouble.
And he even
Taught me how to blow a bubble.
He has helped me with homework
Especially when it was hard.
He helped me with math
And even with flash cards.
Sometimes we get in fight
But we always make up.
We were so excited
When we got our first pup.
Even though he is older
We still get along with each other.
No matter what age we are
We will always be brothers.
I chose to write and shape this poem because I am a huge fan of my brother. He has always been there for me and is really close to me. I shaped it like an "S" because his name is Sean, and also because he is a senior at Michigan State. He is a big fan of the Spartans and writes for the Lansing Times. I believe it was the perfect shape because it symbolizes not only his name, but his love and pride of his school.
